RDF Ventures backs founder-led technology-enabled companies at the pre-seed
and seed stages.

RDF Fund I is an SSBCI-supported venture fund focused on partnering with companies early in their institutional financing journey. While engagement with founders may begin prior to company formation or early in product development,

RDF typically underwrites investments at the transition from late product to
early go-to-market risk.

The fund’s approach reflects the view that venture outcomes are influenced not
only by initial traction, but by a company’s ability to navigate hiring, positioning,
and commercial execution through the progression from seed to Series A.

Through experience across national accelerator and venture programs, as well as building and operating at venture-backed startups, the RDF operator has supported dozens of companies, including involvement prior to formal company formation for teams that were ultimately venture backed. This informs the fund’s approach to underwriting and supporting companies throughout their Seed to Series A journey.

Designed to strengthen local startup ecosystems while connecting founders to the national venture landscape.
